Mid-Michigan AIChE Scholarship Information The Mid-Michigan section of AIChE is pleased to offer an exciting scholarship opportunity to students in the Tri-Cities area. The purpose of this award is to promote the vision of the AIChE by offering financial support to students who wish to study and ultimately become professionals in the field of chemical engineering. General Description: A $2000 scholarship awarded over 4 years to a graduating high school senior who plans to study chemical engineering at an accredited university or college. The scholarship will reward past academic performance as well as school and community involvement; it is not strictly based on financial need. It is intended for a student who has demonstrated a high proficiency in core academic courses and who has a high probability of success at obtaining a chemical engineering degree and becoming a practicing engineer. Eligibility: The scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors in Mid-Michigan’s Tri-City area and neighboring counties who are interested in chemical engineering and have intentions of entering an accredited engineering curriculum.
