The California State Polytechnic University Pomona, College of Engineering, invites applications at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for a tenure-track faculty position beginning September 2011. Primary functions of exceptional teaching, faculty leadership, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in teaching a wide range of courses and laboratories in Chemical Engineering including stoichiometry, thermodynamics, transport phenomena, unit operations, process design, with special interest in chemical reactor design and mass transfer, and emerging technologies in chemical engineering. Candidates are expected to develop a funded research program that involves undergraduate students in a field related to Chemical Engineering.
