The
Mid-Michigan section of AIChE is an enthusiastic group of over 450 people
practicing Chemical Engineering in the Tri-Cities area of Michigan. Most of
us are employees or retirees of The Dow Chemical Company and Dow Corning
Corporation in Midland, MI.
| Our Section
mission is to provide opportunities to continuously develop our
members professionally while working with the community to provide a
positive view of science and engineering. Our organization hosts
seminars to raise understanding of current technical and social issues
and provides opportunities for continued professional and social
development. Our members are
actively involved in the community with demonstrations in local
schools. In
addition, we provide scholarships for those interested in pursuing a
